June 2009 - The letter from the oncologist is ready (and was sent on June 4th!). Last week we called to the Pediatric Oncology department to ask about the letter we had requested. “Sure”, said the lady on the other side of the line. “I just mailed that letter today.” Hurray !! Another administrative bump leveled off.

The Canadian medical officer in Vienna will add this letter to our medical file (exam took place at the end of December!!) and will send this – including his advice - to the embassy in Berlin. This is literally the last piece of paper that the embassy needs to come to a final conclusion. So – if all goes well – we will shortly receive our GO or NO GO. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

In a few more weeks, summer vacation starts. Ideally we´ll move in this period. If not, life goes on after summer vacation and we need to be more patient, before our dream comes true. We shall see!
